POLICIES
Ferrocon is committed to the health and safety of its staff and to the protection of the environment.
Our Health, Safety and Environmental Management Policy is implicitly understood by all involved, and is summarised as follows:
- Provide a safe and healthy working environment for all of our employees and contractors
- Reduce and wherever possible prevent pollution from our activities
- Train and motivate employees to conduct work in a safe and responsible manner
- Use resources and energy efficiently and to minimise waste and emissions
- To be responsible corporate citizens, complying with regulations as a minimum and establishing our own procedures and programs where regulations are not considered adequate or do not exist
- Promote consultation between employees and management addressing areas concerning the safety health and wellbeing of individuals and the environment
- Design and manage our operations in a manner which promotes energy efficiency and strives to reduce the environmental foot print of our activities
- To promote recycling and resource recovery, conserve energy, water, and natural resources
